Hi, I'm Andrea, and I turn ideas into engaging content—let's get the plot started.

 

In short, I’m an advanced digital marketer with excellent written and verbal communication skills. I have a way with words—from witty headers and captivating captions to articles full of personality. Most of my time is spent editing customer-facing editorial content; writing original content; managing contractors who work on improving site content; and strategizing ways content can outshine, outperform and outlast. Needless to say, I live in a “content” state of mind.

I understand the importance of producing editorial pieces that become valuable marketing assets and I'm well aware that powerful copy alone is not enough—SEO keywords, headers, hyperlinks and more—all play a vital role in how well content performs. At the end of the day, bona fide content that is authentic and genuine is the goal, and high engagement is the perk.
 

I bring professional experience from a full-service digital marketing agency, a dynamic start-up, and a diverse freelance writing and editing career. Currently, I work full time as an Assoc. Editor for Viator—the world’s largest marketplace for travel experiences—and a company that falls under the Tripadvisor umbrella. I also contribute my free time to nonprofit organizations like the American Red Cross as a journalist because I enjoy casting a light on those making positive impacts in their communities and I seek to help others when and where I can.

 

When I'm not working, I enjoy reading, writing prose and poetry, drinking pistachio milk lattes like it's nobody's business (yes, they really can milk anything nowadays) and walking on the beach with my pup, Bowie—named after the great David Bowie.
